In Strategy Driven Learning, the programme has both a learning and a business purpose. Theories and concepts are introduced and are applied to real business challenges or opportunities. The role of faculty changes. They become teachers and coaches. They bring to the discussion direct experience with other companies; they challenge participants thinking, forcing them to deeper levels of understanding and they help build commitment to action. The result is effective change execution, because the leaders know what and how to do and because they have the mindset and the ambition to make it happen. We base our work on four key principles # 1: real work = real learning Adults learn by doing. # 2: your organisation, your business form the best case studies Whether it is strategy development or business acumen, our approaches use your content. This means that our programmes apply new learning directly to your organisation and your business. # 3: when it comes to implementing change, the best consultants are your own best people Initiating new strategies, or implementing change provide some of the best learning opportunities for your people to become effective leaders. We develop your best people to implement change and we use change to develop their leadership. Leadership is a skill. It must be practised. # 4: you cannot transform a company with training More than 70% of change programmes fail. Successful change involves addressing all the dimensions concurrently within one integrated programme. In addition to addressing knowledge, skills and mindsets, change must be led from the top, involve people and be deeply integrated. Training is only one part. |
